In this video, we demonstrate how to integrate Micro Focus Operations Bridge Manager (OBM) with BMC Remedy using ZigiOps—a flexible, no-code integration platform designed for real-time, bidirectional data synchronization.

Step 1: Log In to ZigiOps

Access the ZigiOps platform and log in to begin the setup process.

Step 2: Verify System Connections

Navigate to the Connected Systems tab to verify that ZigiOps has valid and active connections to both Micro Focus OBM and BMC Remedy.

Step 3: Select Integration Template

Go to the Configurator menu and choose the OBM–Remedy integration from the list of pre-defined templates.
These templates come with ready-to-use settings for actions, triggers, filters, and field mappings.

Step 4: Configure the Integration

On the Operational Level, configure the following:

• Data Collection Method – choose between Listeners or Pollers

• Trigger Conditions – set filters to determine which events are transferred

• Field Mappings – define how fields from OBM align with fields in Remedy, including custom attributes, severity levels, and lifecycle states

Once the setup is complete and verified, save the configuration.

Step 5: Test the Integration

Watch the integration in action:

• An event is generated in OBM

• ZigiOps automatically transfers the event and creates a corresponding incident in BMC Remedy

Step 6: Bi-Directional Synchronization

After the initial transfer:

• Any updates in OBM (such as annotations, severity changes, or status updates) are synchronized with the related Remedy incident

• Conversely, any modifications in Remedy are reflected in the related OBM event

This ensures full visibility and continuous synchronization between monitoring and ITSM systems.
