Our no-code platform creates bi-directional connections between Jira and any othertool, supporting both on-premise and cloud instances.
Organizations using BMC Helix for formal IT change governance and Jira for agile software delivery can rely on ZigiOps to bridge change requests between both systems, automatically creating Jira tasks when change records are approved in Helix. All relevant change details, including scope, planned implementation window, risk assessment, and approval notes, are mapped across to Jira so that delivery teams have full governance context when executing the work. Completion signals from Jira are used to update the corresponding Helix change record, maintaining a clean, auditable trail from formal approval through to delivered implementation.
When BMC Helix ITSM captures a critical incident that reveals an underlying application or infrastructure defect, ZigiOps automatically creates a linked Jira issue for the development or DevOps team, with all incident context accurately mapped including priority, affected service, description, and SLA urgency. Engineers can immediately begin investigation in Jira while status updates flow back to the Helix incident record, keeping ITSM teams and service managers informed throughout the resolution process. This seamless escalation path removes the manual handoff between IT operations and engineering, reducing time to resolution and ensuring that incidents with a software root cause are never left waiting in an ITSM queue.
How the Integration Works
Start Syncing Data
Activate your integration and watch your data flow between systems in real time. Monitor sync status, review logs, and fine-tune settings as needed — all from a single UI.
Customise Your Integration
Tailor the integration to your exact needs using the no-code visual interface. Map fields across systems — ZigiOps supports text, numeric, date, dropdown, multi-select, checkbox, user/assignee, attachment, and custom fields.
Set sync direction (one-way or bidirectional), define filters to control which records sync, configure conflict resolution rules, and apply value transformations to ensure data consistency between platforms.
Choose an Integration Template
Select from a library of pre-built integration templates designed for the most common use cases. Each template comes with preexisting field mappings, filters, and sync rules ready to go.
Simply click "Enable" and the integration will start.
Connect Your Systems
Configure the connection to your source and target systems in ZigiOps.
Authentication is supported via basic credentials or OAuth, depending on the platform. We recommend creating a dedicated user account for ZigiOps to ensure clean audit trails and easier troubleshooting. The required permissions for this user will vary based on your specific integration use case.
Install ZigiOps or Login for SaaS
Download and install the ZigiOps integration platform on your preferred environment — on-premise or cloud.
The setup takes just a few minutes with no coding required.
